It was only a matter of time before this happened. Most, if not all of my female running friends seem to be coo coo for their Oiselle puffs and the recent signing of Kara Goucher was the last straw. I had to know. What is it like to run in Oiselle. So at 9pm on Thursday March 20 I placed an order for an Oiselle Running Women’s Feather Burnout Tee and Oiselle Running Women’s Long Roga Shorts. They arrived Saturday just in time for the first ever bRUNch with Jess and a group of NYC’s finest runners on Sunday morning. My thoughts? Joey’s smile says it all!
You ladies are so lucky you have this option. It was not exactly warm out in the NYC Sunday morning when our bRUNch began around 9:30am. But I was so very cozy in my feather top. The feel against my body was extremely snuggleicious. The shorts could have probably been an inch longer but I’ve seen people running in shorter shorts. I would not be arrested on this day for indecent exposure.
The big test would be if anyone noticed. I had to tell a couple of runners since most were bundled up while I was dressed for the beach. Meggie, Beth, Abby, Gabby , Danielle or Stephanie would have known right away if any had bRUNched with us but not one word from anyone else as to why I was wearing and/or running in women’s clothes. Then at the brunch portion of the bRUNch the lovely Theodora knew something was up but waited until I asked her if she liked my top. I mean who wouldn’t like my top!
The reputation of Oiselle’s awesomeness is completely justified as far as I’m concerned. I’m even considering tossing all my UA gear and making the switch myself! Oiselle, I can only hope that one day I can become a member of the Oiselle team as so many of my friends are. I want to fly too you know. Congratulations on such a great brand, the signing of a legend and having the best ambassadors on the face of the planet.
